That’s “Amore”

The Shikker Dovid wants to share an idea he heard from the holy Rabbi Allen Schwartz of OZ. Rabbi Schwartz says the word ’emor’ (as in our parsha this week) is connected to love. As in “amore.

The Torah exhorts or “emor” the Kohahim not to become impure. Rashi says “Emor” applies on the Ketanim and Gedolim or adult Kohanim and younger Kohanim.

I would like to stretch Rashi’s idea a little. The “words” we say, must be truthful and not hurtful. All of them. Alll our words, the big ones (gedolim) or little ones (ketanim) must be measured and carefully phrased.
